About Tri-City Heat Treat

Ralph Damewood and Elmer Priebe opened a modern Heat Treat plant in August of 1960. Tri-City Heat Treat started in a 9,800 square foot building in Rock Island. In 1971 Elmer Priebe passed away and Ralph took ownership.

In 1980 a second generation, Ron & Gary Damewood carried on the family tradition of providing the highest quality heat treat services for our customers in a timely manner and at a competitive price.

In 2006 a third generation, Ronald R. Damewood Jr. (Rick), continues to carry on the family tradition. Today the company occupies a 57,000 square foot facility, located at 2020 5th Street in Rock Island, Illinois.
